Located in the historic center of Tortoreto Alta, the Clock Tower is one of the most important and well-known symbols of this city.

Its construction was carried out in several phases: the base dates back to the time of the foundation of Tortoreto, in the seventh century, while the central part of the Tower dates back to the Middle Ages, here, even today, the marks left from the tie rods of what was once a drawbridge that allowed access to the city.

The upper part, finally, dates back to the 19th century and is perhaps the section that most characterizes the Tower thanks to the presence of the beautiful Gothic arches and the clock from which its name derives.
