The Church of  Madonna del Carmine was built in 1529 at the end of the plague that struck the whole of Italy and was restored in 1881 in a neoclassical style. Characteristic for its ceiling painted with floral decorations in black and white and recognizable by its facade and its bell tower. Initially the church was built in honor of S. Rocco, the saint who took care of the plague victims, later it was dedicated to the Madonna del Carmine.
